Information statistics become an important basis for hospital scientific management

Since its establishment in October 2016, the Inner Mongolia Hospital Association Hospital Information Statistics Professional Committee has been conscientiously fulfilling its functions, strengthening external communication and self construction. At present, there are 103 member units, covering tertiary hospitals, secondary hospitals, and other medical institutions in 12 league cities, 43 districts and counties. Qiao Jing, Deputy Secretary General of Inner Mongolia Hospital Association, stated that with the rapid development of medical information technology, information statistics have become an important tool for comprehensively evaluating the performance of various hospitals. At the same time, with the help of information statistics, hospital managers can conduct a more comprehensive analysis of hospital operations, achieving effective management of people, finance, and materials. Li Zhijie, Chairman of the Inner Mongolia Hospital Information Statistics Management Professional Committee, also stated that the leading role of the professional committee will be fully utilized, guided by the needs of statistical information application, and focused on key tasks such as refined and standardized management of hospitals at all levels to strengthen academic exchanges.

Information security is needed to support the construction of information systems

Recently, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region government released the "Implementation Plan for Promoting the Construction and Development of Medical Federations", which added entrusted medical federations and high-level medical collaborations with Inner Mongolia characteristics, and promoted the construction of medical federations in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The rapid landing of the medical consortium can not be separated from the support of a strong information system. Nassoon Bayar, the president of Inner Mongolia Xilingol League Hospital, said that the construction of hospital information system has become an indispensable technical support for hospitals.

During the meeting, Liu Yuhong, the director of the Information Center of Chaoyang Hospital, shared the beneficial exploration of the hospital's information construction with Chaoyang Hospital as an example. The hospital has established an information management system based on medical order management to meet the increasing demand for clinical applications and management, achieving closed-loop management. In addition, Liu Yuhong also stated that in order to promote refined hospital management, the hospital is integrating data platforms.

It is understood that Chaoyang Hospital has established a platform knowledge base of medical information, and found out the relevance of the data through modeling and processing the fragmentation information of the hospital, so as to provide auxiliary decision-making for clinical diagnosis.

With the diversification of healthcare data collection channels and the geometric growth of hospital data, how can we ensure the security of data? Song Zhongliang, a senior engineer at the Information Center of Peking Union Medical College Hospital, stated that in order to truly achieve information security, it is necessary for leaders to have security awareness and clarify the value of information assets; Secondly, it is necessary to have a clear organizational structure and clear job responsibilities; Finally, implement at multiple levels, not just in the network.
